As part of the “Lebanon – Elimination of All Forms of Forced Labor and Exploitation” project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Caritas Austria and Caritas Lebanon, the training sessions on human rights, the UN Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners, and international laws were successfully completed.

Caritas Lebanon organized a workshop entitled “How to Maintain Business Sustainability and Employment During Crises” at the Hilton/Al Habtoor Hotel , as part of the project “Empowering Youth to Secure Sustainable Employment and Improve Livelihoods” funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation in cooperation with Caritas Switzerland and Caritas Denmark.

Caritas Lebanon President, Father Michel Abboud, and the President of the Lebanese Canadian University, Dr. Roni Elias Abi Nakhle, signed a cooperation agreement in the field of educational and cultural exchange.

Funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADA) and supported by Caritas Austria, Caritas Lebanon, through its Primary Healthcare centers in Dahr El Ain, Tripoli, Sed El Bouchrieh and the mobile clinic in Akkar, provided medical supplies for people with special needs and the elderly, including hearing aids, custom-made prosthetic limbs, wheelchairs, crutches, and more.

Caritas Rayfoun Primary Healthcare Center, in collaboration with Fattal, organized a diabetes awareness campaign with Dr. Emile Andary. The campaign included diabetes screening, medical consultations, lab tests, and the distribution of free diabetes testing devices for those in need.

A delegation from the Italian Bilateral Military Mission in Lebanon (MIBIL) visited Caritas Lebanon headquarters in Sin el Fil, where they were received by Caritas President Father Michel Abboud

The Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Raii, participated in the brunch held by Caritas sector of Jebbeh in the Patriarchs’ Garden in Diman.

President Father Michel Abboud appointed Chef Hanna Tawil as the honorary ambassador of the “U-Feed” kitchen, part of Caritas Lebanon’s Social Enterprises.

“Al-Mahabah” (Charity) Cooperative, “Intajouna,” affiliated with Caritas Lebanon, in collaboration with Zahle sector, participated in the second exhibition of food manufacturing and homemade goods.
