Caritas Aley-Bhamdoun sector celebrated the opening of its new center in Aabadiye with the support of Give Back Foundation to provide aid and services equally for all people living in the region, in the presence of Deputy Alain Aoun.

In commemoration of its golden jubilee and the first anniversary since the establishment of the El Harf sector, a special religious service was held at Saint Georges Church in Majdel El Meouch. The holy mass was led by Father Michel Abboud.

On the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day, Caritas Lebanon, in partnership with the UNFPA, organized awareness sessions in which around 140 girls, aged 14 and above, from scouting and guiding associations in the Akkar region, participated.

Caritas Lebanon, in partnership with “Chaine de l’espoir” and AFD, organized a training course on congenital skeletal deformities in children for the medical staff working in Zahle, to encourage them to conduct necessary examinations for each child.

Jbeil sector, in collaboration with Lebanese American University students, organized a breast cancer awareness campaign, focusing on the importance of regular breast self-examination and early detection of the disease.

Hungary Helps Agency’s delegation visited Caritas Lebanon, where both parties had the opportunity to acknowledge the successful joint initiatives undertaken in the past, and discussed various areas where future collaborations could be fostered.

A delegation from the International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) visited Caritas Lebanon Headquarters in Sin El Fil, to learn more about Caritas’ mission and activities in various sectors, and evaluate the cooperation between both parties.
