Caritas Lebanon, in partnership with Caritas Austria, distributed food parcels to beneficiaries as part of the Basic Assistance provided under the EBAP program in “Patriarch Sfeir Center” Zahle. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for this vital support.

Within the framework of eradicating digital illiteracy under the ASE project funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation in cooperation with Caritas Denmark and Caritas Switzerland, the IT ACADEMIA in Caritas Lebanon distributed certificates to the training participants in the regions of Ashrafieh and Zahle.

Baabda 2 sector celebrated the annual mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Bsaba, presided over by the President of Caritas Lebanon Father Michel Abboud, in the presence of the Deputy Pierre Bou Assi, President of the Bsaba Municipality Claude Bou Antoun.

Caritas Lebanon organized a free medicine distribution day funded by BMZ and supported by Caritas Germany, at the hall of Saydet Al Niyah church in Ferzol, during which 500 medications were distributed to approximately 200 beneficiaries.

Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud received Caritas Spain Middle East Desk Officer Barbara Lorenzo Regidor in his office at the Headquarters-Sin El Fil, where they discussed ways to promote future cooperation.

Under ASE project funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud distributed certificates to the participants of the Soft Skills Training organized at Darouna center in Furn El Chebbak.

Caritas Internationalis held their very first CI Management Standards Assessor’s Forum in Beirut. 20 English and French speaking assessors from five regions attended this forum, in order to exchange experiences, procedures, tools and suggestions. The aim is to enhance the understanding and knowledge of safeguarding and risk analysis.

Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud appointed a new committee for Keserwan I sector, headed by Mrs. Gracia Atallah Romanos, for the three next years, in the presence of Maronite Patriarchal Vicar of Jounieh Bishop Antoine Nabil Andari, Caritas Lebanon Executive Director Gilbert Zouein, and sectors Coordinator Father Roland Mrad.

Caritas Lebanon- Youth in partnership with the German NGO Starkmacher is implementing the project “Enhancement of Non-Violent Conflict Resolution” in Lebanese Schools and Diverse Dialogue Circles as a Contribution to “Societal Stabilization and Conflict Prevention” funded by ifa (zivic Funding Programme).
