Caritas Lebanon participated in a conference on civil-military cooperation in Lebanon organized by the Military-Civil Cooperation Directorate (CIMIC), in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer.

Caritas Lebanon, with support from Caritas Germany, organized a free medical campaign funded by BMZ, at the salon of Mar Georges Church in Al-Qlayaa. 760 medicine boxes were distributed to 250 beneficiaries from the area.

Within the framework of the “Training for Employment” ASE project funded by Novo Nordisk Foundation, in collaboration with Caritas Switzerland and Caritas Denmark, Caritas Lebanon distributed graduation certificates to more than 100 participants.

Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud received CIMS Programs Director Anna Maria Vrzskova. This meeting was organized as part of an inspection visit aimed at strengthening partnerships within the context of humanitarian work.

Caritas Lebanon hosted the 8th Coordination Mechanism Meeting of the ‘Promoting Communitypolicinglebanon’ program at Caritas Lebanon HQ premises.

Caritas Lebanon inaugurated the main center of the Emergency Response Unit in Jbeil, which operates to intervene in all potential emergency situations.

Caritas Lebanon held its first annual general assembly for the year 2023 at its headquarters, during which were presented a detailed financial statements for 2022.

Caritas Lebanon – Al-Jebbeh Sector organized a morning event in the “Sama Qannoubine” restaurant – Patriarchs Park, under the patronage of Patriarch of Antioch for Maronites, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, and with the participation of Caritas President, Father Michel Abboud.

Caritas Lebanon has launched the second phase of ASE project “Access to Sustainable Employment”, funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation in collaboration with Caritas Denmark and Caritas Switzerland. The training courses were organized in Jbeil, Antelias, Furn El Chebbak, and Zahle.
