Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud received a delegation from the UNICEF, which included the UNICEF representative in Lebanon, Edouard Beigbeder, the Chief of Health and Nutrition, Kyaw Aung, and the health and nutrition specialist, Rima Chayya, to explore ways of cooperation in the fields of health and education, in light of the difficult economic and social conditions in Lebanon. The meeting, held at the office of Father Abboud at Caritas HQ, was attended by Executive Director Gilbert Zouein, Head of Grants Management Mary Anoushahodian, Head of Medical Department Mary Claude Daher, Head of Business Development Lama Srour, Health Program Coordinator Cindy Hakmeh.
Father Abboud accompanied the delegation throughout a tour in the Community Center and the primary Health Care Center, where the delegation was briefed on the work and challenges Caritas faces in order to secure health and education services for the largest segment of citizens.
