The project aims to establish smooth pathways for vulnerable Lebanese and Syrian refugees, ensuring a successful transition into employment and income-generating opportunities, through the provision of skills training, on the job training (OJT), career guidance, counseling, and effective job placement.

ILO Prospects – Integrating Career Guidance and Employment Services in Akkar and North Lebanon

The project’s activities cover performing a community-based market assessment to identify skill development and employment prospects in the local labor market within the geographic area of the CDCs. Than, the project provides the beneficiaries with profiles on SkillLab, career couseling and awareness sessions on decent work conditions.
Following the above trainings, a part of beneficiaries would benefit from OJT & TVET trainings, while the others would provided with apprenticeship opportunities, livelihood and employment linkages.
