From Crisis to Care: A Healthcare Legacy For Vulnerable Communities

The goal is to provide these individuals with essential primary healthcare and mental health services, addressing urgent needs that have arisen due to displacement, economic hardship, and/or the destruction or closure of nearby medical facilities.

 

  • Area of implementation:
    • Saida District: Maghdouche, Abra, Barti, Aaktanit, Jenjleya, Sarba, Jarjouaa, Adoucie, Hajje, and Kfarchlel.
    • Jezzine District: Aray, Baissour, Wadi Baanqoudain, Machmouche, Kfarfalous, Mrah Hbas, Karkha, Ain Majdalain, Lebaa, Jezzine town, Bkassine, Sfaray, Azour, Aytoule, Snaya, Haitoura, Saidoun, Mjaydel, Jemeya, and Boslaya.
    • Marjayoun District: Al Qlayaa, Marjayoun, Al Boueida, Borj El Mlouk, Deir Mimas, lbl El Saki and Sirda
    • Hasbaya District: Kawkaba, Al Mari, Al Fardis, Rashaya Al Foukhar, Shwaya, Ain Qenya, Al Kfeir, Mimes, and Abu Qamha.
    • Bent Jbeil District: Ain Ebel, Dibbine, Rmeish, Al Qouzah, and Aalma Al Shaab.
    • Mount Lebanon Governorate: Chouf and El Metn Districts.

 

  • Medical services provided:
    • Medical Consultations (through 2 PHCCs, 7 MMUs, and telemedicine)
    • Diagnostic testing
    • Psychological First Aid (PFA)
    • Psychological Individual Sessions
    • Diapers
    • Dignity Kits
    • Provision of essential medications

 

  • Methods of Implementation:

The project will utilize a combination of fixed and mobile facilities to ensure effective and flexible healthcare delivery to underserved communities in the targeted areas.
