The project aims to address the urgent needs arising from the escalation of cross-border incidents which have led to the most severe attacks on Lebanon in over 20 years. These attacks have caused widespread displacement and significant loss of life.

Caritas Lebanon provides vital assistance to internally displaced individuals, returnees, and host communities by offering multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA), food parcels, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) aid, while also implementing protection activities to reduce the risks of gender-based violence and exploitation during the ongoing crisis and support women and children in vulnerable situations.

  1. MPCA : Supporting approximately 225 households with a total of $400, distributed in two installments of $200 each, in the areas of Mount Lebanon, Beirut, and Bekaa.
  2. Food Parcels: Distribution of around 7,300 food parcels in the area of Mount Lebanon, Beirut and Bekaa.
  3. MSMEs: Supporting around 60 MSMEs with an amount of 1,500 USD.
  4. Protection: Providing protection main streaming sessions to 450 women and 300 children in the South. Beneficiaries will receive $5 for transportation and one dignity or recreational kit.
