A delegation from United Nation Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) and the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF), joined by representatives from the Embassies of Australia and Republic of Korea, conducted a field visit to the Caritas Lebanon Community Center in Saida.
The purpose of the visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the center’s comprehensive protection services and life skills training programs aimed at supporting vulnerable populations.
During the visit, they explored the center’s ongoing programs focused on safeguarding individuals from exploitation and abuse, and participated in training sessions covering essential life skills and protection awareness.
The visit was a chance to engage directly with beneficiaries understanding their challenges, and learning how Caritas’ integrated response, supported by projects funded through the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF), is meeting real needs on the ground.
The delegation left inspired by the center’s comprehensive approach and the dedication of the team working tirelessly to protect and support local communities.
