As part of the ongoing efforts to support needy families and strengthen social solidarity, a delegation from Lutheran World Relief (LWR), one of the organizations of Corus International, visited Caritas Lebanon-Tyre sector. The delegation included Tamara Demuria (CEO of Humanitarian Assistance), Ali Hijazi (LWR Representative in Lebanon), Awan Shaaneen (Project Manager), and Rima Korjieh (Project Coordinator).
They were welcomed by Father Michel Abboud, President of Caritas Lebanon, along with Father Monsignor Maroun Ghafari, Head of the Tyre sector, and several staff members.
During the visit, the delegation participated in distributing stationery and blankets to the beneficiaries.
