The Health Department of Caritas Lebanon held a meeting on Tuesday, May 19, bringing together the nurses in charge of primary healthcare centers across various Lebanese regions, as well as the coordinators of the mobile medical clinics. The meeting aimed to strengthen coordination and follow up on the implementation of ongoing health programs and services.
During the meeting, appreciation was expressed to the medical teams for their tireless dedication and continuous efforts throughout the war period. New health programs were also presented, with emphasis placed on the vital role of nursing and medical staff in serving patients and the most vulnerable communities.
The gathering concluded with a celebration of International Nurses Day in recognition of the nurses’ commitment, dedication, and invaluable contributions to humanitarian and healthcare work. The event was attended by Father Samir Ghawi, President of Caritas Lebanon, Dr. Lina Bitar, Executive Director, and Father Naaman Qazhia, Spiritual Advisor.
