On the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day, Caritas Lebanon, in partnership with the UNFPA, organized awareness sessions in which around 140 girls, aged 14 and above, from scouting and guiding associations in the Akkar region, participated. They were informed about the menstrual cycle stages, facts and misconceptions related to menstrual disorders, and were provided with tips for maintaining cleanliness. Additionally, they received sanitary hygiene supplies.
