Medical Day in Jbeil in collaboration with NDS hospital

Caritas Lebanon, in collaboration with the NDS Hospital in Jbeil and the Youth for Peace Association, organized a health campaign for displaced people from the border villages.

The event was attended by His Excellency Bishop Michel Aoun, Bishop of the Maronite Archdiocese of Jbeil, Father Michel Abboud, President of Caritas Lebanon, Father Samir Ghawi, Mr. Nadim Nader from the Board of Directors, Mrs. Janine Boulos, President of the Jbeil sector, Father Simon Abboud, Head of the St. John Monastery in Jbeil, Dr. Ziad Khoury, Medical Director of the NDS Hospital, Mrs. Jinan Doumit Nader from the Youth for Peace Association, and Mrs. Maggie Ghanem from the United Nations Population Fund.

The health campaign included the consultations of approximately 200 displaced individuals by nine specialized doctors in various fields such as public health, gynecology, endocrinology and diabetes, cardiology, pediatrics, gastroenterology, and pulmonology in addition to referrals to necessary laboratory tests, and about 500 medical supplies were distributed
