As part of its continued efforts to assist the internally displaced people, Caritas Lebanon organized a medical day in the primary Health Care Center in Sin El Fil, in which over 230 persons from the region of Bint Jbeil and the border villages of Rmeich, Debel, Ain Ebel and Qouzah benefited from healthcare services ranging from medical consultations to medication distribution; as well as referrals for necessary lab tests.
Throughout the day, around 530 medicine boxes and a large number of health kits were distributed to the patients. Furthermore, Caritas team provided psychological first aid support to help reduce the anxiety caused by these difficult times.
Caritas Lebanon ongoing medical campaigns play a vital role in supporting the local community by providing the necessary healthcare, promoting awareness, and facilitating the access to healthcare providers.
