As part of the “Lebanon – Elimination of All Forms of Forced Labor and Exploitation” project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Caritas Austria and Caritas Lebanon, the training sessions on human rights, the UN Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners, and international laws were successfully completed. 45 members of the General Directorate of General Security were trained in 3 batches: August 27-29, 2024, September 3-5, 2024, and September 10-12, 2024, along with several Caritas employees. The training concluded with the presence of Father Michel Abboud and Executive Director Mr. Gilbert Zouein. Certificates will be distributed in an upcoming ceremony.
