Caritas Lebanon responds to the calls of the Lebanese in the south

Caritas Lebanon has been a steadfast pillar of support in the South, delivering essential health services through two Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs) and two Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) since October. The impact of their tireless efforts is reflected in the numbers:

Medical Consultations: Providing care to 3133 individuals, Caritas Lebanon has been a beacon of health assistance.

Distribution of Medication: Ensuring access to vital medicines, with a commendable 19622 instances of medication distribution.

Vaccination: Immunizing 158 individuals, contributing to the community’s overall well-being.

Awareness Sessions: Empowering the community through 275 educational sessions, promoting health and well-being.

Psycho-Educational Support Group Sessions: Conducting 100 sessions to address mental health needs and offer psychological support.

Nursing Care: Offering compassionate nursing care to 2859 individuals, emphasizing holistic health.

Diagnostic Tests: Conducting 190 diagnostic tests, aiding in accurate health assessments.

Psychological First Aid (PFA): Extending support to 250 beneficiaries, recognizing and addressing psychological distress.

Distribution of Dignity Kits: Providing 355 dignity kits, ensuring essential personal care items for those in need.

Distribution of Baby Kits: Offering support to 60 families with essential baby kits, nurturing the health of the youngest members of the community.

Caritas Lebanon’s comprehensive approach to healthcare, from medical consultations to psycho-educational support, reflects their commitment to the well-being of the community in the South.
