Caritas Lebanon, in collaboration with the “Tadbeer” Association, organized a free medical day at the association’s center in Andaket. The event was funded by the United Nations and coordinated with the Municipality of Andaket, with additional support from the Ministry of Public Health, NDSUH, and “Youth for Peace.”
The campaign covered a range of medical specialties, including general medicine, cardiology, endocrinology and diabetes, orthopedics, and gynecology. It also included osteoporosis screenings for women over the age of 40, in addition to laboratory tests.
Father Michel Abboud, President of Caritas Lebanon, visited the campaign site to oversee its progress, accompanied by Father Samir Ghaoui, a member of the Board of Directors. They were welcomed by the Deputy Mayor of Andaket, members of the municipal council, and representatives of the Tadbeer Association.
More than 280 individuals from Andaket and nearby areas benefited from the services provided.
