Diplomatic Delegation Visits Caritas Lebanon Health Services at Dekwaneh Shelter

As part of its ongoing efforts to support communities affected by hostilities, Caritas Lebanon welcomed a delegation from the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF), along with diplomatic representatives from the United Kingdom and Australia, to the Fandakiyah-Dekwaneh Collective Shelter on May 7.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the health services provided to displaced families, including medical consultations, laboratory testing, free medication, psychosocial support, and comprehensive primary healthcare.

As the designated health partner at the shelter and the official implementing partner of Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health, Caritas Lebanon plays a key role in delivering healthcare services and leading health responses in collective shelters across the country.

The visit provided an important opportunity for displaced individuals to share their experiences and concerns directly with diplomatic representatives. Caritas Lebanon extends its sincere appreciation to the visiting delegation and to the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund for their continued support.

Together, we work to ensure that every person has access to the healthcare they deserve.
