The Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Raii, participated in the brunch held by Caritas sector of Jebbeh in the Patriarchs’ Garden in Diman, in the presence of the Patriarchal Vicar of Jebbeh, Bishop Joseph Al-Naffah, Deputy George Atallah, Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud, and the sectors’ coordinator Father Roland Murad, the District Commissioner of Becharre Ruba Al-Shafshaq, President of the Union of Municipalities of Bcharre District Elie Makhlouf, the spiritual guide of Jebbeh sector Father Khalil Arab, the Patriarchal Custodian Father Tony Agha, and a group of parish priests, association officials, expatriates and residents who are fans of Caritas, in addition to the heads and members of the Caritas sectors in the north.
Patriarch Al-Rahi stressed that Caritas is “the beacon of the Church and its social pastoral apparatus in Lebanon, which works with all churches.”
