Caritas Lebanon, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund, organized a medical day for women and girls at Tal Chiha Hospital, which included medical consultations, distribution of medications available in mobile clinics, health supplies distribution for women, and coverage of laboratory tests’ cost, if necessary, at reduced prices allocated by the Tal Chiha administration to make the medical day a success. Were present in the medical day representants of Caritas Lebanon, the Head, members and youth of Zahle and Central Bekaa sectors, the General Director of Tal Chiha Hospital, Dr. Marwan Khater, and some heads of departments in Tal Chiha.
More than five hundred women from Zahle and its surroundings benefited from the medical day, in an organized atmosphere.
