Empowered by Faith, Driven by Humanity, United for Lebanon.

Caritas Lebanon launched its annual donation campaign during a press conference at its headquarters in Sin el-Fil. The event was attended by Me. Pauline El Yammouni, representing the Minister of Information – Dr. Paul Morcos, as well as Archbishop Paul Abdel Sater – Caritas Lebanon Supervisor, Monsignor Abdo Abou Kassem – Head of the Lebanese Catholic Media Center, and representatives from top media outlets, alongside Caritas Lebanon members.

Archbishop Paul Abdel Sater emphasized the importance of this campaign, reminding us of the profound responsibility we have toward our brothers and sisters in need. He stressed that true generosity comes not from our excess, but from what is truly necessary.

Monsignor Abdo Abou Kassem emphasized the importance of Caritas Lebanon’s annual campaign during Lent, noting that assisting those in need is a direct act of service to Jesus Christ.

Me. Pauline El Yammouni expressed the Ministry’s unwavering support for the campaign, highlighting that Caritas stands as a beacon of human solidarity, embodying the collective spirit of compassion and care for others.

Father Michel Abboud, President of Caritas Lebanon, reflected on the vital role Caritas plays in reaching out to those who are most vulnerable, offering them hope and support. Father Abboud launched the campaign with a powerful video under the theme “Faith. Humanity. Lebanon,” urging everyone to take part in this important humanitarian cause.

The campaign aims to raise essential donations to continue Caritas’ wide-ranging efforts in supporting social services, healthcare, education, development, and the protection of Lebanon’s most vulnerable communities.
