Canadian Ambassador visit

Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ambassador McCollum, visited Caritas Primary HealthCare Center in Sin El Fil as part of the “Ambassador for a Day” program accompanied by the high-school student winner, a team from the International Rescue Committee and her team. The purpose of the visit was to explore some of the development work Canada supports in Lebanon.

Caritas healthcare team led the group on a tour of the PHCC and MMU, highlighting the different services Caritas provides throughout Lebanon and the significant impact the “Enhanced Support for Persons with Disabilities and Older Persons” project had on the community by offering a bundle of essential healthcare services to those who need them the most.

The project was implemented with the support of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and funded by the Lebanon Financing Facility administered by the World Bank.
