Caritas Maten I Sector – Antelias held a meeting with representatives from thirty-eight parishes to review 2024 activities and set the 2025 action plan. Attendees included Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud, Regional Coordinator Father Roland Mrad, Sector Head Mrs. Houda El Rayess, Spiritual Advisor Father Michel Atiyeh, regional office members, parish representatives, and Caritas Youth.
The meeting began with a Divine Liturgy led by Father Michel Atiyeh, with Father Abboud and Father Murad in attendance. Father Murad, in his sermon, expressed gratitude to Caritas Lebanon, its President, members, and volunteers, acknowledging their efforts in embodying God’s love through service. He emphasized the significance of dedication and volunteering to aid those in need.
Following the Mass, Father Michel Abboud chaired an administrative session, commending the sector for its efforts and its commitment to assisting those in need. He praised the collaboration and coordination with the administration to address beneficiaries’ needs.
Father Roland Mrad also offered guidance on the 2025 Lent campaign, an essential initiative for supporting sector services, and expressed pride in the zeal and commitment of the sectors to charitable work.
Mrs. Houda El Rayess welcomed Father Abboud and Father Murad, thanking them for their continuous trust and support. She also expressed gratitude to the representatives for their ongoing collaboration, benefiting both the region and Caritas as a whole.
