On the occasion of Christmas, Caritas Lebanon Akkar Sector organized a special day of entertainment for the elderly on Friday, December 27, 2024.
More than 56 men and women participated in the event, with the goal of fostering a spirit of love and appreciation for those forming the cornerstone of our society.
The event began with a celebratory Mass, led by Father Philippe Khoury, followed by a series of entertainment activities provided by Caritas Youth to bring joy to their hearts.
The day concluded with a lunch gathering that brought the participants together in a warm and joyful atmosphere. Additionally, a symbolic financial aid was provided to the elderly as a gesture of appreciation and support from Caritas.
This activity comes as part of Caritas Lebanon’s commitment to its humanitarian and social mission, as well as its continuous dedication to standing by the most vulnerable groups in society.
