Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud took part in a Bible study at the Monastery of Saint Charbel – Punchbowl – Sydney accompanied by the Head of Caritas Lebanon Youth Department Peter Mahfouz, in the presence of the Head of the Monastery Father Asaad Lahoud, Father Alan Fares from Our Lady of Lebanon Parish and the Coordinator of Caritas in the Parish Mona Abdallah among presence from the Lebanese Diaspora.
Father Abboud talked about the importance of Peace especially the Peace that Christ gives us. Peter Mahfouz added discussing the hardships of spreading Peace to a community that lives in a state of destitution “when we are able to provide a person in need with their basic needs that is when we lay the first corner stone in building Peace”
