Caritas Lebanon Health Department received the Head of Cooperation at the European Union, Mrs. Alessandra Viezzer, and the EU Programme Director, Mrs. Madhuri Severgnini. They toured the Health Department’s work at the primary health care center in Sin El fil and one of the collective shelters in Dekwaneh.
The medical team provides various health services to displaced individuals from the southern regions and Bekaa, including medical consultations with doctors from different specialties, laboratory tests, medication and health supplies distribution, primary psychological support, and the provision of medical equipment for the elderly and people with special needs.
They praised the Health Department’s work and the variety of services provided to local community and displaced people amidst the current crisis.
