Caritas provided approximately 12,000 healthcare services to 800 individuals with special needs and elderly residents in the Beirut and Mount Lebanon areas as part of the “Support for the Social Recovery of Vulnerable Groups in Beirut” project in coordination with the International Rescue Committee, with financing from the #LebanonFinancingFacility administered by the World Bank Middle East & North Africa.
These services included medical consultations, laboratory tests, home visits, free medications, speech therapy, sensory-motor therapy, physical therapy, financial assistance, and medical equipment.
