A delegation including representatives from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Lebanon and Syria, along with officials from the donor embassies of Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark, carried out a field visit to the mobile clinic operated by Caritas Lebanon in the Zahle area. During the tour, the delegation was briefed on the ongoing work and the health and humanitarian services provided by the medical teams to the local community. The visit also included a field tour in the Anjar area, where the delegation received an explanation about the integrated health response mechanism implemented by Caritas in partnership with the UNFPA, particularly regarding reproductive health services and support dedicated to women and girls. Members of the delegation expressed their appreciation for the efforts being made on the ground, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation and coordination to ensure the strengthening of access to healthcare services to vulnerable communities.
