As part of a strategic effort to strengthen cooperation between the public sector and civil society in advancing human welfare and community resilience, Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud received Dr. Mohammad Abu Haidar, Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, at the organization’s headquarters. Dr. Abu Haidar was accompanied by Mrs. Tania Abou Hassan. The visit took place in the presence of Caritas Executive Director Mr. Gilbert Zouein and Head of Livelihoods and Development Mr. Joseph Bou Assi.
During the meeting, discussions focused on ways of cooperation between the Ministry and Caritas Lebanon, with an emphasis on the importance of partnership in launching development projects aimed at empowering Lebanese youth and enhancing their capabilities in various fields.
