The Secretary General of Caritas Internationalis, Mr. Alistair Dutton, made an official visit to Lebanon, accompanied by Bishop Giorgio Bertin, President of Caritas Middle East and North Africa. They were received by Father Michel Abboud, President of Caritas Lebanon, and Mr. Gilbert Zwein, Executive Director of the organization, along with several directors and officials.
During the visit, Mr. Dutton was presented with a detailed overview of the work of Caritas Lebanon, especially in light of the current crises facing the country. He also discussed future challenges and prospects for cooperation with donors, considering the regional and international changes affecting the work of humanitarian organizations.
This visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships and coordinate efforts to ensure the continuity of services provided by Caritas Lebanon, particularly during this critical phase the country is going through.
