Free medical day in Tyre with the Military-Civil Cooperation Directorate of the Lebanese Army

Caritas Lebanon, in collaboration with the Military-Civil Cooperation Directorate (CIMIC) of the Lebanese Army, organized a free medical day in Tyre, providing over 350 people with vital medical services, including consultations, lab tests, and free medications, with the support of BioTech.

The event was attended by administrators from Caritas and the Lebanese Army, along with local officials and members of parliament. Father Michel Abboud praised Caritas’s commitment to serving those in need, wherever they are, and called on donors to support these initiatives. Dr. Nicola al-Hajjar and Brigadier General Iyad Al Alam emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation between Caritas and the army to support the community.

This activity is part of a project funded by the European Union to enhance humanitarian work in South Lebanon and Mount Lebanon, underscoring the importance of solidarity and cooperation in serving citizens during challenging times.
