In a unique initiative that blended fun and knowledge, Caritas Lebanon HOPE center organized a special day bringing together the students and their displaced peers.
To foster harmony and unity, the group was divided based on age and grade level.
Olive Tree of Peace: The first team began by explaining the symbolic olive tree, expressing our hope for a bright and united future. Everyone participated in the artistic painting, working as one team, emphasizing the value of collaboration and solidarity.
New knowledge and diversified experiences:
The day featured engaging awareness sessions, where students exchanged experiences and knowledge, learning from one another. They also participated in a range of recreational activities, such as group games and tournaments, which reinforced their friendships and brought smiles to their faces.
The day’s activities were not limited to education and entertainment, but also extended to include a table filled with delicious meals prepared by the students themselves, exchanging cultures and traditions through food.
Melodies of the Homeland:
The day concluded with the presentation of a painting created by a student for Hope Center.
This day served as a message of hope and love, proving that friendship knows no boundaries or prejudice. We succeeded in building strong bridges between our students and their displaced peers, planting seeds of tolerance and cooperation in their hearts.
We look forward to more of these initiatives that bring us together and strengthen our bonds.
