Ms. Tineke Ceelen, representing ten global charitable organizations, visited Caritas Lebanon in an effort to provide support to Lebanon and the Middle East amid the ongoing crisis.
Ms. Ceelen, along with several Caritas officials, toured the Organization’s main Head Quarters, where a “Ready to Eat Food Parcels” distribution initiative for displaced individuals was taking place and learned about their difficult living conditions and pressing needs.
Following this interaction, Ms. Ceelen met with Caritas Lebanon President, Father Michel Abboud, in his office. During their discussion, they addressed the challenges facing Caritas Lebanon under the current difficult circumstances and expressed her appreciation for the organization’s efforts in alleviating the suffering of those in need.
