Caritas Lebanon – North Bekaa sector celebrated its annual Mass at St. Joseph Church in Deir Al-Ahmar, led by Maronite Eparchy of Baalbek-Dair Al-Ahmar Bishop Hanna Rahme. The service was attended by Caritas Lebanon President Fr. Michel Abboud, Regional Coordinator Fr. Roland Murad, North Bekaa Regional Head Mons. Paul Keyrouz, spiritual advisor Fr. George Daoud, and parish priest Fr. Elie Jamil.

He praised the organization’s response to Lebanon’s economic crisis and acknowledged the region’s historic role in supporting displaced families through partnerships with the Church, municipalities, and civil institutions.

Fr. Abboud thanked Bishop Rahme, local authorities, and volunteers, affirming Caritas Lebanon’s 53-year mission to serve the needy with dignity and love. He stressed that funds are for supporting others, not accumulation, and called for continued cooperation between Church and community.
