Throughout this project, CL enhances the living conditions of detainees within the RC in Lebanon by \u200eproviding medical and physical healthcare, mental health services, and necessities through this program. CL \u200ealso ensures that detainees have access to recreational activities and maintain a clean environment by \u200eadvocating for sanitary products and pest control. The primary objective of this project is to enhance the \u200eprotection of detainees by providing the following support:\u200e
\n\u200e-\u200e Covering the salaries of staff working at the Retention Center.\u200e
\n\u200e-\u200e Continuously providing physical and mental health services as well as ongoing care.\u200e
\n\u200e-\u200e Supplying protective services, which include managing cases and offering social counseling, making \u200ereferrals to shelters for vulnerable individuals, and providing emergency financial assistance.\u200e
\n\u200e-\u200e Offering psychosocial support to alleviate psychological distress and promote mental well-being \u200ethrough engagement in sports and recreational activities.\u200e
\n\u200e-\u200e Ensuring that the meals supplied align with food security standards.\u200e
\n\u200e-\u200e Distributing general and personal hygiene items among detainees.\u200e
\n\u200e-\u200e Maintaining regular communication with General Security to monitor case statuses and expedite the \u200eprocess for detainees who are ill or particularly vulnerable.\u200e
\n\u200e-\u200e Enhancing environmental hygiene through the implementation of pest control services.\u200e
