On the occasion of Caritas Lebanon’s 50 years jubilee, a celebration was held at Saida, where Caritas first started in Lebanon, with the participation of Saida Deputies Dr. Osama Saad and Dr. Abdul Rahman El Bizri, Former Deputy Bahia Hariri, Mufti of Saida Skheikh Salim Soussan, Jaafari Mufti of Saida Sheikh Mohamad Osseiran, Pastor of the Maronite Diocese of Byblos and the Supervisor of Caritas Lebanon Archbishop Michel Aoun, Pastor of the Diocese of Saida and Deir el-Qamar for the Roman Catholic Church, Archbishop Elie El-Haddad, Bishop of the Diocese of Saida and Deir al-Qamar for the Maronite community, Bishop Maroun al-Ammar, Representative of Archbishop Elias Kfoury, Father Ibrahim Saad, Head of the Lebanese Catholic Media Center Father Abdo Abou Kassem, Mayor of Saida, Eng. Mohammad Al-Saudi alongside other representatives.<\/p>\n

In the presence of Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud, Vice President Dr. Nicolas Al Hajjar, Executive Director Gilbert Zouein, Board members, Chief Sector of Saida Yasser Samya and members from Saida along with Caritas Lebanon Youth.<\/p>\n

The celebration included a presentation of videos and testimonials about Caritas. Samya was also honored and handed the celebration shield, and certificates were handed over to members of the association.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
