The Opening of 2 sections for children with learning difficulties Thursday 01 June 2017

On the 1st of June 2017, Caritas Lebanon opened two sections dedicated to children with mental retardation at Patriarch Sfeir Center in Zahle, funded by the Embassy of the Polish Republic in Beirut.

In his word, the President of Caritas Lebanon, Father Paul Karam highlighted the deep relationship between Caritas Lebanon and Polish aid, hoping that this collaboration will grow and continue in further projects.

Then, the children performed a dance and thanked the Polish aid for their continuous support.

At the end, the Head of Humanitarian Unit in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Olga Piaskowska did a tour in the Center and was impressed by the work done by Caritas Lebanon in supporting the students with learning disabilities.
